VIDEO: Rihanna "Where Have You Been" & Battleship blurb

One of my favorite tracks from her Talk That Talk LP that has gotten me through many work-outs since it dropped. Ever since the BTS video dropped of her practicing the choreography I have been excited about seeing this and learning the moves. Then they dropped several other BTS videos after that and I lost interest. No music video needs that many videos released before it drops. Sheeeeeeesh. Riri goes tribal… so without further ado…
Got a chance to skype with Rihanna this past weekend. She was in Pearl Harbor promoting the Battleship movie and I was in Brooklyn watching a screening of it. Surprising she did a good job & was even able to suppress her thick Bajan accent just enough. The movie was action packed, amazing graphics and special effects but the script fell way short. It was almost like they wrote irrelevant lines for Rihanna just so she could speak. If you are looking for a great story the movie falls short, if you are looking for a transformer-eque alien movie and don’t really care about the dialogue then you will enjoy the film. It hits theaters May 18th.
