Musiq talks “MusiqintheMagiq”

“Using music as medicine. A lot of people are going through a lot of things nowadays so sometimes people just need that moment to themselves and I want to soundtrack that moment.”

I love that. Hearing that Alphabet record where he’s singing the ABC’s to me like I’m in pre-school had me worried but after watching him talk about other tracks on his new album, my excitement for it’s release had been restored. Check it out:

In part 2 he gets really personal and talks about his 2 year old son. A surprise to me I definitely didn’t know he had a kid. He talks about the line he draws between his job which is his music and his personal life.
