Eb the Celeb attends 50 Cent’s Street King Cocktail Party

50 Cent is well on his way to adding philantropist to one of his many titles. Last night he held a cocktail reception for his Street King energy shot. Very intimate gathering of no more than 50 people mix and mingled in The Library at the Hudson Hotel.

Just as charismatic as the first time I met him years ago. Walking around shaking hands and speaking to everyone.

Even little ol’ me got to chop it up with him for a couple seconds and of course get a pic.

Then it was time for the presentation. 50 Cent’s manager Chris Lighty was on deck to introduce him and a video showing the poverty in Africa and the reason why 50 decided to get involved.

Afterwards Chris Clarke, the entrepreneur behind Pure Growth Partners whose mission is to find and create sustainable brands using a “one for one” give-back component to donate directly to the world’s most effective charities spoke about how much it has been a pleasure working with 50. Together, they conceived the idea for the Street King energy shot.

Street King currently comes in Orange Mango and Grape flavors. I snagged a couple last night but didn’t want to try them because I didn’t want to be up all night. Will definitely follow up when I do.
